Hi, my name is Ava and I will be your guide! I was born and raised in Wakulla County, fishing the coastal waters and hunting the national forest. My dad started taking me hunting with him when I was just 6 months old, so to say I've spent my entire life outdoors would be completely accurate. I killed my first buck at 8 years old and was hooked from that day forward. I grew up fishing the waters and helping my dad on his commercial fishing boat, as well as working on my family's oyster farm. As soon as I was tall enough to see over the steering wheel, I began learning to drive the boat and navigate the waterways so I could find my own fishing spots. As you can guess, my hobbies include just about anything outdoors- from hunting deer, turkeys, and hogs in the forest, to fishing, gigging, and duck hunting on the water. I am also an active member of the American Daughters of Conservation- a nationwide group of females that combine their love of outdoor activities with nature conservation. In my "free time", I'm attending college to earn my degree in business management. I started this service to get more people outdoors and teach them new skills, while showing them the nature that I fell in love with. Whether you're new to hunting or fishing, a seasoned pro, or just enjoy nature, come check out my page and book your next adventure with Ava Outdoors!
